During their operational life tubular heat exchangers are often subject to inlet tube end erosion. In many cases the erosion causes sufficient enough tube wall loss that the tube would require plugging. Inserting a metallic sleeve through the eroded area mitigates the effects of erosion and extends the life of the tube. EST manufactures, supplies and installs Tube Sleeves and sleeving equipment.
